Assuli is part of a group founded in 1948 by the founder Cav. Work Giacomo Caruso, successful Sicilian entrepreneur and point of reference for the development of the local economy.
Although the family businesses developed first throughout Italy, and subsequently throughout the world, in the construction and stone sectors, the Caruso family has maintained its roots firmly, starting to expand its own countryside in the 2000s, already owned since last century. Thanks to the scrupulous maintenance of the traditional canons of processing native grapes, Assuli has obtained a production of excellent organic wines celebrated by numerous awards throughout the world.
The recent construction of Baglio Assuli, a modern winery that combines tradition and innovation in a magical place where the horizon unites countryside, sky and sea, has allowed the Carusos to continue the family history. By combining the commercial forces of a large international group with the prestige and uniqueness of a local product of excellence, today the grandchildren Roberto, Nicoletta and Michele lead the company towards new goals, transferring ancient knowledge into the bottle which translates into a wine of absolute authenticity and unmistakable character.
